Privacy Policy Overview

VVLY Plastic Surgery (hereinafter the "Hospital") considers users' personal information to be very important and complies with the Personal Information Protection Act and related laws. This Privacy Policy provides guidance on the standards for processing personal information collected in the course of using the services provided by the hospital.

Article 1 (Personal Info Categories)

The hospital may collect the following personal information.

2. Member ID, service provision & management
3. Event & marketing info (with separate consent)
4. How visible are the scars?
5. Service Improvement & Stats

Article 3 (Retention & Use Period)

As a rule, the hospital destroys the relevant information without delay after the purpose of collecting and using personal information has been achieved. However, when it must be retained for a certain period under relevant laws, it is retained as follows.

• Membership info: Until withdrawal (destroyed immediately upon withdrawal)
• Consultation records: 3 yrs post-consult
• Medical records (Medical Law): 10 years
• Access logs (Comm. Privacy Act): 3 mo

Article 4 (Third-Party Provision)

The hospital does not provide user's personal info to third parties without consent. Exceptions apply in the following cases.

• Pregnancy or possibility
• If there is a request from investigative agencies based on laws or for investigation purposes following prescribed procedures.

Article 5 (Entrustment of Personal Info)

The hospital may entrust the processing of personal information to external parties to improve services as follows.

Users may exercise the following rights at any time.

• Request correction if error exists
• Request for deletion (May be limited within legal retention periods)
• Request to Stop Processing

The hospital takes the following measures to secure personal information.

• Administrative: internal plan established, regular staff training
• Tech measures: Access mgmt, control systems, encryption of identifiers, security programs.
• Physical measures: Access control for data storage areas such as the server room

Article 8 (Cookie Management)

The hospital may use cookies to provide customized services to users. Users may refuse the storage of cookies through their browser settings, but this may result in restrictions on the use of some services.

Article 11 (Changes to Privacy Policy)

This Privacy Policy applies from its effective date, and if there are any additions, deletions, or corrections to its content due to laws or policies, notice will be given through the site's announcements starting 7 days before the changes take effect.
