F.A.Q

FAQ (Frequently Asked) Question Eye Surgery Inquiries

Q.Which is better: Buried, Partial, or Incision? +
The buried suture method leaves almost no scarring and recovers quickly, but there is a possibility of it coming undone. The incisional method is permanent and can create a variety of lines, but recovery takes a little longer. The optimal method is recommended based on eyelid thickness, amount of fat, and the desired line.
Q.What if the double eyelid loosens? +
One free revision within 6 months if VVLY buried method loosens. Incision is permanent, no loosening concern.
Q.Difference between Ptosis & Double Eyelid? +
Double eyelid surgery is a procedure that creates a crease line, while ptosis correction is a procedure that adjusts the muscle that opens the eye (the levator palpebrae superioris) to make the eyes larger and more defined. Performing both procedures together maximizes the effect.
Q.Worried about epicanthoplasty scar +
VVLY minimizes scars via non-incision or micro-incision. Recovery to nearly invisible state in 3-6 months.
Q.Can I wear glasses/lenses during recovery? +
Glasses are possible from the day after surgery. Lenses are recommended after stitch removal (approx. Week 1).
Q.Between under-eye fat repositioning and lower blepharoplasty, which one is right for me? +
Bulging under-eye fat People in their 20s–40s without skin sagging...under-eye fat repositioning (conjunctival incision/no scar) is suitable. Conversely, for fat+sagging+wrinkles 40s–60s...is more effective to comprehensively tidy up with Lower Bleph (lash line incision). Often combined; accurate diagnosis provided via 1:1 consultation.
Q.Are lower bleph scars visible? +
Because the lower eyelid is incised along the line just below the eyelashes, after recovery it is concealed by the eyelashes and is almost invisible. After 3 to 6 months, the scar fades further and becomes more natural.
